mrfish Posted 20 August , 2007 Share Posted 20 August , 2007 Hi I wonder if anyone out there would be able to translate/interpret the attached, which is a list of units served and promotions from the service papers of a chap transferring from the Somerset LI to the RFC in March 1918. I'd love to know what the abbreviations are and where the units served etc. Any help gratefully accepted. Many thanks mrfish ><((((*>

mrfish Posted 21 August , 2007 Author Share Posted 21 August , 2007 Thank you so much for the info, guys, that's excellent. Amazing how much you can tell from just a few scribbles on a nearly 90 year old service paper. Do you have any ideas about the ranks he achieved? Cheers mrfish ><((((*>
