RHLV Posted 13 August , 2007 Share Posted 13 August , 2007 A colleague of mine is looking for information on the following Ottoman unit: Amman Expeditionary Force It was (according to him) formed in March 1918 and was redesignated the 62nd Infantry Division in July of the same year. It contained the following units: 1-3 battalions of the 73th Regiment 1-3 battalions of the 75th Regiment 1-3 battalions of the 150th Regiment It was disbanded (destroyed?) in either late September or early October of 1918. That appears to be all he knows about it. Can anyone supply details like who commanded it, whether it was disbanded or destroyed, what other units were attached (artillery, engineers, etc), and when is ceased to exist? Will pass it along. Thanks, Rich
