shaunhullis Posted 27 July , 2007 Share Posted 27 July , 2007 Does anyone have a copy of this memorial book? It was published in 1933 by Combridges for private circulation. It's about the four brother Wright, all of whom came to Winchester College, and two of whom died as a result of service. The school should have a copy, but does not seem to, and I've tried the Bodleian Library in Oxford, which is supposed to have a copy of everything, but doesn't. If anyone has a copy which they'd be prepared to scan or photocopy, they'd have my eternal gratitude. This is partly because the youngest brother, Frank, is not on our war memorial (he died of TB 'owing to the effect of his wounds' in 1922), and I'd like to gather evidence to get him added. Kath Posted 27 July , 2007 Share Posted 27 July , 2007 Shaun, I suppose you've tried local 2nd hand bookshops & the Library? Does the Cathedral have a library? Kath.

shaunhullis Posted 27 July , 2007 Author Share Posted 27 July , 2007 Thanks for the suggestions. I knew about the Turner Donovan/Abebooks copy, and have been drooling at the thought for some time. However, £125's a bit beyond my (non-existent) budget. Looks like I'll have to wait till my lottery numbers come up! Shaun
