Guest geoff501 Posted 4 August , 2007 Share Posted 4 August , 2007 Albert Fisher's research came about due to this thread: http://1914-1918.invisionzone.com/forums/i...st&p=466709 Thats almost all I know about him so far (he enters the thread towards the end). I believe he had a large family so to answer the call of King and Country at his age was a courageous act. Its possible we may have found a living relative. The research continues. As Terry said, this is one of two In From The Cold success stories in the same cemetery. Since the aforementioned thread, another man on the memorial has been identified, sadly there is no trace of his service records. But Private Harry Wakefield Richmond, 2nd Bn. Worcestershire Regiment is now (to borrow a phrase) 'More Than A Name'. Many thanks to all who helped in these cases. Geoff
Guest geoff501 Posted 2 August , 2008 Share Posted 2 August , 2008 Taken today, Pte. Fisher's CWGC commemoration. We were able to trace some relatives and I see they have added an inscription.
