Guest rmwilton Posted 23 July , 2007 Share Posted 23 July , 2007 Good morning, Browsing through the forum, I've noticed some very helpful and comprehensive replies regarding particular airmen who were killed during WW1. I wonder if anyone could give me information about my wife's great-uncle. The only information we have (from the Commonwealth War Graves Commission website) is that Lt. JAMES CRAIG, 53rd Sqdn., RAF, was killed on 11th April 1918 and is buried in Meteren Military Cemetery. Does anyone have any more detail about him and his death, please? I suppose he represents a typically tragic story in that he had been married to my wife's great-aunt, Emma Craig, for only a few months before his death, and Emma never re-married. She died in 1981, aged 89. Kind regards, Mike Wilton, Margate, Kent
