Hi.

Done a 'Google' as regards the above, but can not find any photo.

Can any Pal help?

Information i am seeking, on my part, is to do with the transfer of the 9th West Yorkshire Regiment in the Dardanelles to Kephalos Camp, Imbros.

Kindest regards,

Chris.

Hi John.

Much appreciated, many thanks.

And i do believe, the other ship involved in the 'Transfer', was H.M.S. Racoon.

Kindest regards to you John.

Chris.

Correct Chris

from Westlake's 'British Regiments at Gallipoli'

July 1915

"Arrived Lemnos 7 am (10th) Disembarked 9 am (11th) and to bivouacs western side of Mudros Bay. Sailed Mosquito and Racoon for Imbros (22nd) Arrived 8 pm and to 'C' Area, Kephalos Camp."

Chris

HMS RACOON was the same class of destroyer (BEAGLE) as the MOSQUITO so the pic would have been the same if one could have been found !

Best wishes
