Does anyone have any information or is able to point me in the right direction,I have a man on my local memorial serving as a mate on this ship,he died 13/6/17.

Ive tried searching the net but found nothing.

I have details of the Red Tail.My GGgrandfather was the captain and was drowned on that day in June 1917. They were sunk by submarine.He is buried in Dieppe. They were loaded with coal. I am searching for more detals of the schooner (would you believe a schooner sunk by a sub.)like photos.

Thanks very much,I have received your email and look forward to receiving the information. I did try the Nat Maritime Museum but they said they couldn't help because they receive thousands of requests for information.
