David Seymour Posted 10 July , 2007 Share Posted 10 July , 2007 The following Gazette entry speaks of Parker as being an observer officer. Does anyone know if he made it to a squadron? THE LONDON GAZETTE, 4 APRIL, 1919. 4419 Air Ministry, 4th April, 1919. ROYAL AIR FORCE. The undermentioned temporary appointments are made:— Spencer Furlong Parker (Lt., Midd'x R., Spec. Res.) is granted a. temp. comm. as 2nd Lt. (Observer Officer). 1st July 1918, and to be Hon. Lt. Many thanks for any help.
