Guest newworldmember Posted 31 December , 2003 Share Posted 31 December , 2003 Here's a tough question which I hope someone in the U.K. may be able to answer. As you know, 'If You Were the Only Girl in the World,' was a song that came out of a London West End show during (I believe) the 1917-1918 period. A duet sung by a man and a woman, it became an instant hit with officers who had seen the show while on leave. Years ago, I knew who sang it, but I can no longer find the source of that information. Perhaps someone in the WFA can help me, and I hope this will prove to be so. Cory Kilvert

Chris_Baker Posted 31 December , 2003 Share Posted 31 December , 2003 Cory, I think this page tells you most of what you need to know, and confirms Charles' remarks.
