An ebay item includes pics that the seller identifies as aircraft 7963 and 5318. Is it possible to identify them, the pilots and what happened? Also is there an RFC equivalent of Serials & Units?

5318 was a Bristol Scout 'C' and 7963 was an Avro 504A, which left the A V Roe works on 26 July 1916.

Scout C 5318 and Avro 7963 both went to Egypt. All I have is :-

5318 Devonport Docks dd ex Ascot 10.3.1916. Shipped to Middle East for 5 Wing. X AP Heliopolis dd 1.4.1916.

7963 Left works 26.7.1916. To Middle East. Fabric tests at X AD. 194 TS Amria by 1.1918.
