Richard Bain Posted 5 June , 2007 Share Posted 5 June , 2007 I was quite taken by "Wee Jocks" photo of the Basra Memorial - I never thought that I would see any outside of France and Flanders but there you go! Anyway there are two men from our village (New Cumnock, Ayrshire) on the Basra Memorial. They served with the 2nd Black Watch and another four (2nd BW again) are actually buried at Amara and I was wondering if anybody has any photos of Amara?
