barkalotloudly Posted 20 May , 2007 Share Posted 20 May , 2007 I was fortunate to purchase a trench map {1/20000} trenches corrected to 30/6/17 however on this particular map it seems the details of the extensive light railway system have been carefully drawn, with many names of the various locations eg vinery juntion, hellfire stone spur, bedlington line.these continue out into the salient and thro the german lines so it must be assumed that these were drawn after the offensive.
