these 4 men appear in the casualty roll of the 5th manchesters that was published in the papers in june 1915,all killed at gallipoli,but i cant find any of them on CWGC,ime pretty sure the papers have them listed under the wrong battalion,ime certain that these blokes were in the 1/8th.

pte t.h chorlton,14 myrtle grove,ardwick

pte a.waywell,41 william st,gorton.

L/cpl t.harrison,21 alma st,collyhurst.

pte p.j welsh,11 george st.hulme.

these are the likliest candidates

pte a waywell 1797-300170

pte p.j welsh 1141

L/cpl t.harrison ???

there is an arthur waywell,but he was KIA in dec 1917,with the 1/8th batt,its possible the paper has headed them under killed,and should have been under those wounded,any help with this puzzle is much appreciated

its ok,i have found them,they were all dangerously wounded,they must have been put in the wrong casualty list,bernard
