jandendas Posted 18 May , 2007 Share Posted 18 May , 2007 During the Great War the dutch factory Trompenburg, welknow of the Spijker cars, had also an aircraft department. First they build the Farman HF-22 under lisence, but in 1917 Mr. Vannehard (from France) designed an Scout plane, only one prototype. At the end of the war he designed an two-seat biplane trainer the V-2. Which was build for the Naval and Army airforce, it had one problem, the engine and Thulin of 80/90 hp which gives a lot of problems. Now I will try to make an drawing scale 1 : 10 with construction details, but there is nothing. Now I received the information that one fuselage was in Amsterdam at an exhibition (ELTA) 1august until 12 September 1919, without any fabric, so it shows the construction. There should have been a picture in a France magazine, probably L'Aeronautique. Is there any body who knows were is that magazine and can help me with an good scan at a high resolution, so I can study this for the drawings. I should be very pleased.
