David_Bluestein Posted 22 December , 2003 Share Posted 22 December , 2003 I have had this lovely original photograph and frame on my desk for years, but have never been able to identify the officer? What I do know: The 83rd (Queens Own Rifles Of Canada) was a Battalion raised in Toronto Canada (1915-16), sailed for England on May 1st 1916. They were disbanded and absorbed by serving battalions in the field in July 1916. A nominal roll for the 83rd would give a list of Officers, but pin-pointing this one will be tough? Any suggestions from the Pals would be welcome. Thanks as always, David Thornhill,Ontario Canada
