2/Lt LW Middleton of 53rd Squadron died on 8/11/17.

Does anyone have any information on him and on the action in which he dies?

2Lt L W Middleton was the pilot of RE 8 A4664 of No 53 Sqn RFC, with 2Lt Frederick James McCullough (formerly Royal Garrison Arttlliery) as observer, when killed in action on 8 November 1917. The aeroplane was hit by a shell while on an artillery observation mission.
