i started looking into my family tree when my nan said she never knew what her grandads name was.

i plodded on for a while and found a cencus record with the name on. i then didnt get any further from that point untill i stumbled accross this forum.

i have now found out more than i thought i ever could, and tied together what were interesting but compleatly seperate documents into one mans life.

i would never have got this far without the help of many people so i would like to take this chance to say thank you to everyone, chris and all the amazing people on this forum! thank you so much for taking time out to talk and help me with this journey.
