Recommended Posts

I have a postcard to Pte Arthur C Lord 1670 (later 330765)

dated 12 August 1914

his address H Coy 7th Royal Warwicks 101 Graham Street,Swindon.

If anyone has an interest in this, contact me. Sadly someone laminated it!

Presume he was from Nuneaton.

'Dear Arthur, Hope all of you are keeping fit. We are all thinking and talking about you. Had a whip round today for you, hope it reaches (two initials ?) safely. Remember me to all and accept best wishes.

Thank Jack for his card will write him later. glad to keep in touch with all.

The last line has 'Hope Belgium wins'

The picture is of St Mary's Abbey Church and Ruins Nuneaton.
