T H Thurburn RNR I guess that he was an Engineer in the Royal Naval Reserve, but this is outside my comfort zone of knowledge. Any RNR experts out there? He might also have service documents in ADM 340 - both of the latter are in alphabetical order. The service card might give his last pre war and first pre war merchant navy jobs.
