Guest KevinEndon Posted 23 April , 2007 Share Posted 23 April , 2007 I am after any info on an Annie Housman who served in France with the Queen Alexander Nursed. She was bombed in a ship coming fome from France and survived. Friend thinks she may have an award for saving soldiers lives after the ship was torpedoed. Any info would be much appreciated Kevin
Sue Light Posted 24 April , 2007 Share Posted 24 April , 2007 Kevin I don't have any information on her, but she has a file at The National Archives - WO399/12177. The file number indicates that she was a member of the Territorial Force Nursing Service rather than QAIMNS/R Sue
