On the gazettes there are two F M Greens, but most of the activity is for the one in the army. There is however one entry for 20/03/17 where F M Green is appointed as flying officer (temp 2nd lieutenant) - General List from attd RE effective 25/02/17. Looking at the National Archives database I could only find one F M Green in the Royal Flying Corps (and later the Royal Air Force) - he was Frank Menzies Green, ex Royal Warwickshire Regiment.
