Joe Sweeney Posted 17 December , 2003 Share Posted 17 December , 2003 The Service Dress Jacket was only issued with Royal Arms Buttons. It was issued to everyone; regular, reservist and Terrier. Guest IAN0263 Posted 19 December , 2003 Share Posted 19 December , 2003 Ref buttons As a wartime economy, GS buttons would be attached at the factory, and then sent where it was needed - as a re-enactor, I have to deal with the public who are more familiar with the present day Service Dress, explaining the situation.
