thanks, great stuff. I don't somehow think that would be allowed these days. Notice his landing is a "dead-stick" one as well. But knowing Udet he was probably coked-up and/or p***** at the time.

Someone points out that the captured British pilot Lt Bird said later that he was none too pleased about being paraded as a trophy, and someone else pointed out that he should be grateful he was a live trophy, unlike 85 other men who encountered MvR professionally.

Fascinating footage. He really could fling an aircraft around couldn't he?
