5th Battalion Border Regiment took over trenches 68 & 69 near Chapelle d’Armentieres from 6th Durham Light Infantry in Sept 1915. They also manned trenches 78 & 79 near Houplines. Are these figures a local numbering system as nothing similar appears on the IWM trench map CD? Can anyone pinpoint these particular trenches for me, please?
