The scene are men from a mounted unit doing normal fatigue on their units horse line, i.e. shoveling horse S@#$ and many look like they have Curry Combs on their right hands to brush the horse down. truthergw Posted 7 April , 2007 Share Posted 7 April , 2007 The two horses in the second pic. look more like draught animals than cavalry mounts to me. My guess would be either Artillery or Transport. It certainly looks like day to day work on the horse lines with a couple of officers just passing by in time to get their picture took. That would definately fit - most of the photos I have are from the ASC and involve horses but I wasn't sure this one was, mainly because most of them have names on the back and this one didn't.
