It will begin at 9.15 (Council briefing on the new leisure centre allowing).

It will be alphabetical i.e. the answer to the first question will begin with A, the second with B etc.

There will be 26 questions (!)

Hoping that Megan will score for us.

It will be 1,2,3.

Bruce

P.S. None of the answers will be either Haig or Telford.

P.P.S. Provide your own jelly.

Thanks, Megan.

All scores start from 0....nobody gets a head start, and neither 17 nor trout will be a correct answer!

Q.24. X-Ray? Xylophone?

Q.26. Zoo?

As for Q.20, if Trout and Telford are ruled out, what other worthwhile words beginning with T remain? What sort of quiz are you running here?

Disgusted of Abergele.

Torromolinos? Tambourine? Trench? Taube? Triplane? Tottenham? Tranmere? Thatcher?

and Tyrant!

"A tyrant is a single individual holding vast, if not absolute power through a state or in an organization. The term carries connotations of a harsh and cruel ruler who place their own interests or the interests of a small oligarchy over the best interests of the general population which they govern or control."

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tyrant

I think you do it on purpose Steven.

Dear Disgusted of Abergele,

To find out what other possible answers there might be beginning with T, you will just have to turn up and play the quiz next Wednesday!

In the time honoured skindles tradition, what about Saturday?

If anyone is interested, I have an old man's quiz of 30 questions. Assuming that I return from my great expedition to Berwick upon Tweed and Eyemouth which I have planned fro this sunny day, the start will be 9 of the clock. Come on, if you think you're hard enough.

After all, you will need to practice keeping a straight face for next months elections.

I'm sorry, the inclusion of a word beginning with " a " renders your list inadmissable.

Here is one you may wish to muse on, Terpsichorean. Perhaps due to a liberal interpretation of the meaning of conservative, Churchill was known to tergiversate on two occasions.
