Dolphin Posted 3 April , 2007 Share Posted 3 April , 2007 I'm looking for information on Lt Gordon Seawell George who served in the RFC and RAF in 1918, and possibly before. What I know is that he served in the Gallipoli Campaign, and was evacuated from the Peninsula with dysentery. After that he must have joined the Machine Gun Corps, as Corporal G S George of the MGC was made a temporary Second Lieutenant in the RFC from 2 February 1918 (Gazette of 9 May 1918). He was discharged in March 1919, after serving with No 16 Training Depot Station in Egypt. I would be very grateful if anyone has any other information about the man. Thanks Gareth
