Wind turbine

mattina

Recommended Posts

hi all

There is a large electrical tower in between the two villages of Flers and Ginchy, it looks like a teleghraph pole of some sorts but is infact a mast to see if the area is suitable for a wind turbine or not ( i presume testing wind strength etc).

Its quite out the way and probobly will cause no harm to battlefields etc but i wondered what the forum go-ers thought about this

Unlike some people, I have no problems with wind turbines whatsoever, wherever they may be.

Okay -- seems no one has much in the way of thoughts at all. Perhaps when there are wind turbines all the way along the Old Front Line...... :(

Won't they get in the way of the motorway and the taking off/landing aircraft?
