Medic7922 Posted 30 March , 2007 Share Posted 30 March , 2007 I was taking a look at the website of the old Glenside Hospital in Bristol were I once worked as a Nurse and found some great photos of the military casualties, nurses and RAMC medical staff. The first thing that struck me was not much as changed even today, the wards and corridors were the same when I worked there. The hospital is now the Facualty of Health and Social Studies for the University of the West of England. But one thing has me slightly confused, I noted that some of the RAMC soldiers are wearing white landyards on there left shoulder, I thought the wearing of landyards in the RAMC did not come in till the middle 50s and then they were cherry red. http://www.glensidemuseum.pwp.blueyonder.c...sychiatry_3.htm
