is there a london pal who can look at a war memorial in north london for me as far as i can tell its on the site of the old northern hospital in holloway road not far from the nags head pub .i would like to know if my granddad is on it . his name is " edgar tristram "ww1 thank you .tom

afraid i cannot specifically help with your request but just to let you know you are not alone out there! I can confirm that there is/was a Memorial on the site of that Hospital when i last looked about 5 years ago!

thanks for your post scottie .what makes it worst for me is i have a niece who lives just off junction road .but she is "just not bovverd ".i may get out my passport and have a ride down there .tom

I cant help with your request but I was born in the Great Northern Hospital - always a problem on forms "Where were you born" answer "Holloway"
