Roy Evans.

Could you please post all details you may have for George W Green 9543. Who died of wounds 13/07/18. And is buried in Bienvillers Military Cemetery.

Thanks in advance Maurice.

Jon

He was a 2nd Btn man from Aston.

Maurice

If Roy hasn't posted by this evening I will sort you out a copy of the war diary relevent to that date. Although due to him dying of wounds that might not be easy, not knowing in which action he was wounded can cause problems. He may have been wounded months before.

Regards Doug.

G'me a break! I scanned the pages the other day but have been rather busy on the forthcoming South Staffs Pals tour of Arras. :D

I'll post them this evening, (promise).

Maurice,

So they are, I hadn't noticed! Those dates are missing from my copy of the diary - I'll call at the Regimental museum in the next few days and beat someone over the head until they give me the info.

I guess you have not been able to locate the missing war diary pages.

I wonder if anyone else may have a copy?
