Dolphin Posted 27 February , 2007 Share Posted 27 February , 2007 Perhaps you could try your library for a copy of the comprehensive Casualties of the German Air Service 1914-1920 by Norman Franks, Frank Bailey and Rick Duiven; ISBN 1902304 33 0. James A Pratt III Posted 1 March , 2007 Share Posted 1 March , 2007 There was no air raid on Paris on this date according to an artical in "Over the Front" magazine Volume 4 No.3. In looking through "Casualties of the German Air Service" the nearist 2-seater loss is one from FA 14, Uffz. Bruno Terjung (P) and Ltn.d.R. Karl Florin both KIA this day at Villeslve (NE of Noyon according to "Via Michelin"). In looking through the "French Air Service War Chronology" they could have possibly been shot down by Lt Menard Spa 85 who has a victory over a 2 seater in flames over Noyon on this date. There is also a probable claim by a patrol from GC 16 S of Noyon and a claim for a Fokker D7 by Lt Sardier Spa48 at Catigny (NE of Noyon). One hopes this is of some use.
