Guest Ian Bowbrick Posted 5 December , 2003 Share Posted 5 December , 2003 Next Monday I will be launching a WW1 History Studies Group at work. My idea is to meet once a month to look at things such as tracing your ancestor etc. I will start by showing the episode of the Lost Battlefield featuring good friends Aurel and the Diggers you guys do a brilliant job) and Paul Reed. Will report back on how it goes. Has anyone done anything similar? If so what materials have you used? Ian

Martyn Gibson Posted 5 December , 2003 Share Posted 5 December , 2003 Ian, Are there any vacancies at your place of work, I would love to apply to be there. I did once have to give a 10 minute presentation whilst on a SNCO promotion course. You could pick any topic to talk to the rest of the syndicate about. I chose for 10 minutes to talk about the subject of Lions led by Donkeys. I must admit to using some of the Blackadder Goes Forth Video with General Melchett that went down very well. I hope it goes well for you, good luck Martyn
