Guest sharps1859 Posted 10 February , 2007 Share Posted 10 February , 2007 I am trying to learn more about this aviator (John Cameron Hume-Storer) as I have his Colt pistol. I have Canadian records that indicate he took off on February 17, 1917 on a routine patrol from Ramsgate to Dover and basically disappeared. No indication he was involved in a crash or enemy action. He was originally infantry and his Colt pistol has his earlier assignmnent as part of an ammunition train engraved on the side of the slide. Just trying to find out more about his unit, etc. sharps1859
