Edward Penney Boatswain (Bosun) Royal Navy HMS Thetis. Died 26th April 1917. Husband of Lucy Ellen Penney, of 83, Ashford Rd., Eastbourne. Buried EASTBOURNE (OCKLYNGE) CEMETERY Grave D.370.

Can anyone help me any further details with this chap - he is listed on the Eastbourne Central Military Hospital Memorial

Hello

Penney died of Bright's Disease. This is chronic nephritis (inflammation of kidneys).
