truthergw Posted 14 February , 2008 Share Posted 14 February , 2008 .................On another note would a Sergeant really share same dugout with an officer? Wayne Yes. They might well do so. It would depend on the rank of the officer. A subaltern might be a platoon commander and have a sergeant as his senior NCO. Officers in that position often took the night watch, the sergeant the day, It would make sense to share a dugout where they would handover. It might also be shared with the officer's servant. Tunesmith Posted 14 February , 2008 Share Posted 14 February , 2008 Last year Peter Jackson shot a short WW1 film called 'Crossing The Line' as a test for the new Red One digital camera. Check out the Red forum for clips of it, and perhaps the whole thing. http://www.reduser.net/forum/showthread.php?t=1883 TS
Tom A McCluskey Posted 14 February , 2008 Share Posted 14 February , 2008 Thanks for posting the information referring to 'Crossing the Line'. Albeit a short clip of a short film, I have no doubt that the full 15 minutes of it will be intriguing. Aye Tom McC
