mpjbrennan Posted 31 January , 2007 Share Posted 31 January , 2007 Throughout 1917 and 1918 (and possibly earlier - I haven't checked) the weekly "Workington Star and Harrington Guardian" carried a full page of letters from soldiers at the front. The subject matter is fairly mundane, but the authors are identified, and someone researching an ancestor from that area might find some correspondence from him.
