Hello Ady,

I hope the RnR is going according to plan  There were another eight men killed on the same day, not including the officer, and I've just had a quick look at CWGC for mention of company-platoon but there's no info. Besides Lt. Osborne, and your Gt Uncle Arthur, these other men were:

Pte. Robert Brown [243047]; Pte. Edward Crawford [19289]; A/Cpl. Eric Irvin Crowe [205021]; L/Cpl. Roger Nichols Duncan [17834]; Sgt. Richard Lambert [3/7403]; Lewis Newsome ["T" on CWGC][27238]; Pte. Fred Read [41788]; Pte. Archie Thorpe [38157][Not found on CWGC]

Most are interred in St Patrick's Cemetery [Loos]

Cheers,

Dave
