Aerial views of WW1 East camp on South Downs

I live in Shoreham-by-sea on the outskirts of what was once a large WW1 & WW2 army camp. In WW1 it was known as East camp and supported 10,000 men. In the course of researching the site I came across some 1946 aerial photographs on the excellent University of Sussex site.

The image for my location shows the WW2 activity very clearly but it is also possible to see the foundation outlines of the many WW1 huts that were built in this area. The image is located here: <http://www.geog.sussex.ac.uk/grc/info/sussexairphotos/1940/17-5071.jpg>

A short link is here:My location

The home page for the 1946 images is here:

These images may be common knowledge in this group but if not they may be of some interest to members.

I have been told that even better (higher resolution) WW2 images taken by the Luftwaffe are available on line somewhere but I have not yet found them. If anyone can point me in the right direction for them I will be grateful.
