The scans that are relative are G P Sneddon ASC S/4/D55789. I have inadvertently included other G Sneddons. I will see if the wrong ones can be removed.

Any help in interpretting these would be appreciated.

Hello Jarvis

Discharged to Class Z in 1919.

1st card is for horse driver SNEDDON dischaged with a silver war badge in 1918.

2nd card is for private, later promoted to Warant Officer II Class (Quarter Master Sergeant etc) S4/055789 SNEDDON D.C.M. who was also mentioned in dispatches.

Thanks for all of the replies.

I was getting a bit confused trying to de-cipher and almost made the mistake of mixing up two different men.

It doesn't help when download MICs from the archives and getting a sheet containg 6 like named individuals.

Then the hand writing is not always easy to read.

SQMS George Peat Sneddon ASC is the man I am investigating.
