Black Watch Posted 11 January , 2007 Share Posted 11 January , 2007 It Tells you he was a Private in the North Staffordshire Regiment (no. 31671) and then a Private in the Notts and Derby Regiment. (no. 71472) He was entitled to the British War medal and Victory Medal. As there is no Star Mentioned it is unlikely he served overseas before 1916.
