Soren Posted 8 January , 2007 Share Posted 8 January , 2007 I've started sculpting WW1, I have a massive bag of terracotta clay and am really enjoying getting my hands dirty, altough the wife is not too impressed with the mess! No camera at present..... but I'll be borrowing one shortly to give you an update, so far I've modelled 2 infantry busts, one German (brooding) the other British.... I'm now working on some stretcher bearers, I've only had the clay since saturday!

Dan Morton Posted 11 January , 2007 Share Posted 11 January , 2007 Terra cotta clay? Now that's an ambitious and original approach! I'd love to see the outcome. If you want to try a two part putty - Magicsculpt - holds shape really well. http://www.magicsculp.com/ All the best, Dan
John W Posted 11 January , 2007 Share Posted 11 January , 2007 Soren If you use somthing like Magisculpt, Greenstuff or Miliput all 2 part putties and perhaps work on a smaller scale, this can then be reproduced either in metal or resin. PM me if you want to know more JOhn
