Trench map Request -The Bluff

Visiting this area soon, tracing a relative who died 02/03/1916. Hoping to locate a Trench Map from about that time to assist when on the ground during the visit. Modern air photograph would be great too!! Many thanks.

A Secret version from 01-04-1917 which may help.

Cheers. Might need some help here -new to this!! The trenches drawn on the map are German?? No British shown at this time -why? Is it simply because there was any at that time? Be patient with me!

Yes, they're German. British trenches weren't shown as a security measure - the blue dashed line is the british frontline. Secret maps such as the 1917 map posted by Guy had many british trenches shown and later maps had the first few lines as the norm. Even later maps usually had as much detail (sometimes more) as the earlier secret editions (one of the reasons that I'm such a 1918 map fanatic).
