michaelbeer Posted 3 January , 2007 Share Posted 3 January , 2007 I am tracing my Grandfathers war history and it is now the time for a visit to Kew. I am completely new to this type of research and have never been to Kew before. I have attached a copy of george Beer's medal card. I know that I should research the following, Burnt series WO 363 Unburnt Series WO364 and possibly Ministry of pensions PIN 26. My question is where else should I be looking whilst at Kew. The card states hat he served in the KRRC and Tank Corps. Any advice appreciated Thanks Mike

Coldstreamer Posted 3 January , 2007 Share Posted 3 January , 2007 There is no guarantee that you will find any service papers but you will find some info on the rolls If he is in the PIN series then that will be there as if its listed there is a file (assuming its filed away correctly!) - you can search the PIN for any Beers on line before hand -
