HMAT Port Sydney

My great uncle embarked on this ship at Suez 24 June 1916 and disembarked at Melbourne 22 July 1916.

Is there any more information available regarding this ship other than:

"A 15. HMAT Star of England (later renamed Port Sydney)

9,136.tons. 13.5 knots.Commonwealth & Dominion Line Ltd London

Commonwealth control ended 22 September 1917."

and any other photographs available of it other than the one attached?

regards

Richard

If you check the NSW State Libraryy you will find on the PICMAN site photos of a number of the WWI troopships including two of the Port Sydney (A15).
