John,

Hi sorry I don't have any pictures, were you successful in obtaining them?

I am trying to help another Forum member and beleive his grandfather my have been in one of the machine gun companies in 18th Indian Division.

238, 239 and 249 Machine Gun Companies and wondered if there is any mention in your book?

Do you have publisher, author etc of the book so we might try and buy a copy or read it at the National Library.

Thank you

Jane

Folks,

I believe these are the details you want:

An account of the operations of the 18th (Indian) Division in Mesopotamia December 1917 to December 1918

Author : Anon (but infact was Lt-Col W. E. Johnson DSO)

Printed by Finden Brown & Co Ltd for St Martin's Press, London. no date

Approximately 75 pages long, half of which lists all the British officers in the divison, arranged by units

There are two versions of this publication. One contains no illustrations beyond a frontispiece, the other has an integral rear pocket holding (loose) 21 monocrome photos.

regards,

Matthew
