Guest Hill 60 Posted 22 November , 2003 Share Posted 22 November , 2003 Whilst 'playing' around with SDGW some months ago, I noticed that only one soldier was registered as enlisting in Culloden. I contacted the Queen's Own Highlanders Museum, Fort George but they couldn't say if there had been an elistment office at Culloden. I presume that, if there was one, the Police station was used, but does anyone know where someone would have enlisted in Culloden? The soldier concerned was: 1669 Pte James Geddes 4th Cameron Highlanders Born: Brora, Sutherlandshire Enlisted: Culloden Residence: Munlochy, Ross-Shire Died: At home, 13 Dec 1914 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
