JoeMcLeod Posted 15 December , 2006 Share Posted 15 December , 2006 Hello all, I'm doing some research on the 16th Canadian Infantry Battalion (Canadian Scottish) regarding movements in a rough triangle in the La Chavatte, Parvillers, Goyencourt area. My great Uncle John McLeod was killed in that area on or about june 16th 1918. i have a Google earth map but was hoping there might be something more detailed, or even contemporary. His body was never recovered (struck by shell), so there is still a sense of loss for him and I'm personally seeking...something...about him...
