It's been some time since I looked closely at a picture of Lawrence, but the photographs that come to mind seem to show an inoffensive little chap. (The one of him at some peace conference in a shapeless army uniform with rather short trousers; another, postwar, of him gripping his wrist.) But he must have had a fantastic personality to do what he did, even allowing for some of his claimed achievements having been denigrated. I particularly like how you have done the mouth, establishing the shape and fulness of the bottom lip through the applictaion hatching only, without applying any line. It is wonderful.
