Dennis Cutler was an American who was enlisted as a Sub-Lieutenant RNVR in East Africa. He flew an aircraft which located the German warship SMS Koenigsberg. He was shot down and taken prisoner if War, to be relased in 1917. Can anyone tell me what happened to him after that?

I have read an account of the engagement, here is the website in case you haven't:

http://www.xomba.com/the_rafiji_air_force_...the_koningsberg

I have asked that site if they know what happened to Cutler after 1917.

Best wishes

Hi,

Cutler was repatriated in November 1917. He was serving with No * Squadron RNAS in East Africa 21st November 1918 until January 1918. He arrived in UK on the 30th January 1918. He was at Calshot in May 1918 and the HQ at Calshot Oct - November 1918.

I'm afraid that's all I have
